** Went to Tea Party with Mer after Rider's ytd. Initially we wanted to just have some tea and try their famous scones but we ended up pigging out with fried chicken bits, blueberry smoothie and shared a thin crust smoked duck pizza (OMG DAMN YUM). Felt so guilty when I woke up this morning. =X
We were "girly-talking" about the clubbing scene and our personal funny experiences and she kept insisting that I get picked up by hot guys often. Untrue! I often get lame/random/DUH pick-up lines and I hate the grinding-behind-me-thinking-I-won't-notice-his-presence-part. I was telling Mer about G's friend - James, who called me bluff when I told him I'm older than him (he's '87 btw). He was like "25? SURE?! why are you 25!!!!!!!!"
Hahaha. When I first met Mer, she thought I just graduated from poly. Oh that silly girl. -.- I must admit though, am flattered when I get comments that I don't look my age (thanks Mummy for good genes. she's in her 50s and look barely 40); but sometimes, looking older has its perks? People don't treat me like an adult at times. Is it the way I speak? Or my shabby dressing? And I hate having make-up on!! Or is it just me? Like the other day, I wanted to try on a few dresses at a certain XXX clothing store and the sales person shot me a 'doubt-you-can-afford-these-clothes' look. Indeed I was not dressed for Orchard Road that day but, seriously?! Heyy, to have retail therapy in the comfort of my havaianas, shorts and oversized tee ROCKS MY WORLD KAYY!
Oh well. *shrugs*
Mer asked, "seriously man, what's your little secret for looking young?!! you have to tell me!! must be all the running you did you crazy superwoman."
