Pics from the run last Sunday.
Think this was around 7am? It was already raining like mad but that didn't bog my spirits down! Told you I was quite pumped up for running. AND OMG I LOVE RUNNING IN THE RAIN. It sounds damn hardcore but you just don't feel as tired as compared to hot and sunny. Oh btw, they did hand out ponchos. Good welfare. But I didn't wear it la. The running ergonomics just did not look good with transparent poncho over you and besides, I LOVE THE RAIN. Kayy I think I made my point. Hehe.
I missed the inmates performance because of the slight cock up over at the baggage area. Boo boo.
Yupp, my trainers got soaked with mud and I only have one pair!! It's still wet now. -.- No sun to dry 'em up.

So anyway, my lousy timing for RunNUS 10km was 1hr40mins (wah lao so paiseh to even blog about it). And this is Sunday's result!! --->click here and enter my full name!
I was on msn with Kaibin last night and he was super adamant that I will not be able to complete the full marathon end of the year. I was telling him runners 'hit the wall' at the 30km mark and he's like "you can run until 30km first then say." Then of course I tried to dispute his showers of cold water by saying "you wait and see I complete the race and show off the finisher tee to you" And he went on and on ranting how mad I was to sign up for the real deal.
After which, he said "so, when's the next run? let's go together." Then I was like, "SURE ANOT? COME. Nike Human Race 10km. 24th OCT!!" And as usual lahhh, we all know how naggy Kaibin is.. "but i got no proper running shoes! ex lor to buy" ( working in the bank and telling me a $100 pair of trainers he cannot afford when he can buy an iPhone 4. i want to strangle him. )

This is my plan for today :
1130hrs - trim my bangs and get a hair spa at gardens.
1230hrs - buy Step Up 3D ticket for tonight's 2130hrs show ( damn loner. i'm gonna watch a 3D movie by myself. Mer asked to watch after Rider's this Sunday but i've a feeling it'll be out of the cinemas by this weekend. really don't wanna miss the show! told her to come with me tonight but NUS is killing her. poor girl. )
