I was stalking FB's homepage awhile ago and 强 had a time traveler's wife quote as status.

"I wish for a moment that time would lift me out of this day, and into some more benign one. But then I feel guilty for wanting to avoid the sadness; dead people need us to remember them, even if it eats us, even if all we can do is say "I'm sorry" until it is as meaningless air."

One of the novels that got me in tears (besides Dear John and The Notebook). Audrey Niffeneger is really special. She has a way with words that never fails to tug readers at their heartstrings.

And this is my favourite 'time traveler's wife' quote:

"Don't you think it's better to be extremely happy for a short while, even if you lose it, than to be just okay for your whole life?"

That too is true.

Sometimes, all you need is just that one moment to make you remember, to make you smile for a long long time.

p/s : oh man, feel like reading the novel again. yea, it'll be the 6th time i'm picking up the book. everyone needs a tear-jerker once in awhile, just to make sure that your heart is not dead.
