Made kimbab for the first time today. Failed coz i bought the wrong 'kim'(seaweed).

But it still turned out alright. =) One thing about making seaweed rolls is that you tend to keep eating the ingredients while rolling it. By the time I made the 4th roll, was pretty much full from greedy pinching. =p



So my sis brought some out for teatime snacks and she likes all her food with mayo. Bahh. Defeats the purpose of it being a healthy dish.

Well, in case you're wondering, the difference between kimbab and sushi is that sushi uses raw food and the rice is mixed with vinegar; else for kimbab, the ingredients are all cooked and the 'bab'(rice) is mixed with sesame seeds, sesame oil and a little salt. But! I added rice vinegar to mine coz I was afraid it would all topple apart coz of the wrong seaweed used. Heh.

I need an oven man. I wanna bake!! :D
