So anyway, a little update about my life.
Still very much juggling school+part-time work. I mean what's new? Hmmm, not that I'm that despo for $$$ since my air tix+accommodation are kindly sponsored by parents and all I've gotta save for is the shopping at L.A and all the sight-seeing, touristy stuff my friends and I planned for come the U.S winter school trip. I doubt like 2K will be enough lah. Planning to shop for a nice branded leather wallet (my fav 3yr old Juicy Couture wallet cannot be used anymore. spoilt.) as well. Visit all the outlet stores. But most importantly, catch NBA LIVE.
Being oh so damn asian, I'm not at all keen in the western cuisine since
1) i don't take deep fried chicken
2) i don't really fancy steak
3) i don't eat pork so baby back ribs is out
4) i don't take milk so all the hugeass calorie injected milkshakes are out
5) i only eat burg & fries on an occasional basis (mostly when I crave for it)
6) pancakes with maple syrup and butter are yum but having them everyday is a killer
7) i don't eat mash potatoes (nah ah. not even the KFC/maggi one) nor sour-cream onion baked potatoes
8) i love mesclun salad but i hate thousand island and croutons.
9) i don't really eat pizzas.
10) i hate soda/fizzy/beer
Given all the food I abstain from on a daily basis, I should not be fat loh!!! BUT, I can't live without my chocolates, bread, cheese, nasi padang, duck rice, chicken rice, oyster egg, tze char, prata, curry, carrot cake, lamp chop, italian food etc. Lose weight my ass. -.- Also, I love my greens (except peas and cucumber) and soy products (for calcium), cereals and green apple vitagen! Above all, I love drinking H2O; so, I am proud to say that I have a complexion of a 21yr old (shit man. this mth's 28 day cycle popped out 3 GINORMOUS pimples). hurhur.
Tips to a good complexion : NO SMOKING, loads of H2O, try to sleep at a skin reviving optimum time from 2200hrs to 0200hrs and regular exercise. OH, not forgetting my obsession with skincare. I exfoliate every week, mask every 4 or 3 days if I'm not too lazy, apply toner after cleansing and moisturize. Also, when I apply the night moisturizer, I will massage my face in an upwards motion for lifting purpose and also be gentle around my eye area. During the day, I mainly use BB cream for sunscreen and matt it over with baby powder. And girls, NEVER EVER EVER sleep with make up. If you keep doing that, I can guarantee not only will you look older than your age, your skin will eventually succumb to dirt+oil+make up products. CONFIRM CHUI. p/s : my ultimate secret for a good complexion is to use minimal to no make up at all. And ladies when I say minimal, I also meant zero foundation. Foundation is #1 killer in clogging up your pores and causing you to have a dull face.
If I'm any richer, I will wanna try the SKII Facial Treatment Essence. Woah. Pitera on your skin. Like oxygen. Nevertheless, try my method for a month and I guarantee you'll brush off at least 2 years off your original age! Hahahaha.
