It is not hard to guess why the half-blood prince is my favorite Harry Potter character.

Btw, I did not read any of the books so I had no inkling whatsoever how did the character develop to the end. I just felt he was special right from the very first potions class, to him teaching defence against the dark arts, to his composed self; and despite his loneliness, despite him being hated and shunned by the people he vowed to protect, he still kept his promise to keep Harry Potter safe. His character, so tragic, so complex and so heart-wrenching.

I cried when he died. =( Thank God I was wearing those 3D glasses coz my tears where flowing like mad. Love tt final moment when he asked Harry to look at him 'coz through Harry's eyes, he is reminded of why he loved Lily Evans so much.
